He who has health, has hope; and he who has hope, has everything. Your cardiologist takes care of you.

Who am I?

My name is Fernando de la Guía.

I AM DOCTOR, MY REAL PASSION. Cardiologist and Family Doctor. My hobby is the medicine, and everything related to the heart. I got my doctorate at the University of Valencia, my soul city, and I specialized in Madrid. I work in Dénia and Benidorm, sailors cities, with a special light.

I am dedicated to clinical cardiology and imaging techniques. Everything related to the vital organ of our body is essential in my work, from the coronary arteries and their problems (angina pectoris, myocardial infarction), to the electrical system (rhythm disturbances), as well as the great problem of our century: heart failure (when one is short of breath).

My another passion is sports, and I have been able to combine them with Sports Cardiology, dedicating my knowledge to all people who see sport as the best way to have good health.

My advice is always: “Listen to the patient, he will give you the key and he will guide you in a correct diagnosis.”

My Hobbies

MEDICINE

MEDICINE is my true VOCATION.

It represents for me a feeling of personal GRATIFICATION to which I give myself to other people.

It is not only treating or healing the sick, it is understanding, helping, and improving their quality of life, trying to make us BETTER PEOPLE TOGETHER.

FAMILY

I love the wise words of Pope Francis:

Having a place to go is called HOME.
Having people to love is called a FAMILY.
And having both is called BLESSING.

SPORT

SPORT represents for me a way of relieving problems and tensions from day to day.

It represents a great opportunity, to learn to give the best of yourself, with SACRIFICE and commitment.

We have to find VALUES to grow and be better.

REST

Rest, ENJOY with my family a good movie at the CINEMA, go to the THEATER.

Take a WALK in the nature, READ a book quietly, LISTEN to music …

TALK with my friends, TRAVEL, and DISCOVER places and cultures, enjoy the summer.

It is fantastic to rest after many days of work.
